We are looking for Senior Software Developers to offer their experience in designing and implementing large-scale web systems. As technology experts, they will provide technical leadership to the team. They will develop technical designs and must consider extensibility, performance, security, internationalization, and accessibility, amongst other things.
Successful candidates will have:
- A wealth of experience in software design, including OOA/D and design patterns
- Good RDBMS design, SQL and database skills
- Strong analytical and decision making abilities
- A solid understanding how project management fits in the software development lifecycle
- Knowledge about software configuration management and its place in development
- Good organization and planning skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A passion for technology

Location: Moncton, New Brunswick
Main Duties:
- Designing the software architecture for products
- Writing and reviewing technical specifications (system diagrams, sequence diagrams, component and class-level design, database design, etc.)
- Developing components and web applications using C#, .NET and Microsoft SQL Server
- Providing technical guidance to project leaders and decision-makers
- Providing the work breakdown and time estimates for projects
- Coordinating work with project leaders and the development team
- Mentoring the software development team
- Meeting with clients and partners as required
Work Experience Recommendations:
- 8+ years of experience in software development
- 5+ years of experience with web applications
- 3+ years of experience in design and architecture
- 3+ years of experience with C#, .NET and Microsoft tools and technologies
- 3+ years of experience with T-SQL and SQL Server 2000 or 2005
- 3+ years of experience working with formal project management methodologies
- Experience in the development of commercial applications is considered an asset
- Experience leading development teams is considered an asset
Education Recommendations:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- Masters or PHD in computer science is considered an asset
