The following attractions are located in Memphis.

Graceland

Graceland is the home of Elvis Presley. Come and experience the Graceland Mansion, the Auto Museum, Elvis’s Custom Jets, the Sincerely Elvis Exhibit, and Elvis After Dark Exhibit all featuring clothing, artifacts, mementos, and a showcase of Elvis’s awards and albums. Website

Pink Palace Family of Museums

The Pink Palace Family of Museums includes a regional natural history, science, and cultural museum, Pink Palace Mansion, IMAX Theater, and Planetarium all under one roof. This is one of the most visited attractions in Memphis. Website

Mud Island

Mud Island is an educational and recreational facility featuring the Mississippi River. The facility includes a gallery museum and Riverwalk model. Experience the Mississippi River first-hand by renting a canoe, kayak, airboat, paddle boat, or bicycle. Website

Soulsville: Stax Museum of American Soul Music

Stax Records began as a small record store and grew to become one of the most important music recording studios in the world. The Stax Museum of American Soul Music celebrates its history of hit musicians including Isaac Hayes, Otis Redding, the Staple Singers, Wilson Pickett, Luther Ingram, and Albert King. It also features other key soul musicians from other labels including Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, and Marvin Gaye. Website

Sun Studio

Sun Studio is considered by many, the most famous recording studio in the world. Elvis Presley, Jerry lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, B.B. King, and Johnny Cash all recorded here. Come and see the legendary artifacts and learn about how Sun Studio launched the careers of many ‘Rock N’ Roll’ legends. Website

Memphis Zoo

Featuring underwater polar bear viewing, sea lions, and giant pandas, the Memphis Zoo is a fun experience for the whole family. The Memphis Zoo includes many naturalistic exhibits, interactive displays, daily shows, and keeper chats. Website

Memphis Botanical Gardens

Encompassing over 96 acres of natural areas including 23 unique gardens, the Memphis Botanical Gardens is the perfect location for a quiet, tranquil experience. The Memphis Botanical Gardens features special events, art exhibits, educational events, wine tastings, and a restaurant. Website

National Civil Rights Museum

Located in the Lorraine Motel, the site of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the National Civil Rights Museum features the most significant moments of civil and human rights struggles and victories in the United States. Learn about these moments through audio and visual displays. Website

Memphis Brooks Museum of Art

The Memphis Brooks Museum of Art showcases collections of fine art from past to present. Collections include renaissance and Baroque paintings and sculptures, European and American paintings, and more. The museum also features many international traveling exhibitions. Website

Tunica

Casino Night

Tunica is America’s third largest gaming resort destination. There are nine casinos in Tunica that are open 24 hours a day featuring a variety of games and events. Nashville

Grand Ole Opry

What began as a simple radio broadcast in 1925 is today a live-entertainment phenomenon. Dedicated to honoring country music’s rich history and dynamic present, the Grand Ole Opry showcases a mix of country legends and the contemporary chart- toppers who have followed in their footsteps.

Country Music Hall of Fame

The Country Music Hall of Fame features a collection of artifacts designed to tell the story of country music over the past two centuries. It includes exhibits, live performances, restaurants, audio and visual displays, and much more. Website

Tennessee State Museum

The Tennessee State Museum is one of the largest state museums in the United States. It features exhibits depicting Tennessee’s history during the Prehistoric, Frontier, Age of Jackson, Antebellum, Civil War, and Reconstruction periods. Website

Opry Mills

Opry Mills is one of the largest shopping destinations in Tennessee. It includes some of the best retail outlets, entertainment venues, and themed restaurants. Website
